Gabriele Spilker is postdoctoral researcher in the “International Political Economy” group of Thomas Bernauer at the Center for Comparative and International Studies (CIS) and the Institute for Environmental Decisions (IED). She is currently at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University as a Fritz Thyssen Fellow.
Gabi joined CIS as a member of the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) “Democracy” in the research project on “Democratic Structures and Processes and the Provision of Public Goods” in October 2005. In the context of this research project she completed her PhD at ETH Zurich in September 2009.
Since October 2009 Gabi has been a member of the NCCR “Trade Regulation” research project on “Compliance with WTO Dispute Rulings”. Her main research interest is in international relations and international political economy.
